Het Europees Chemieagentschap (ECHA) heeft op 19 januari 2021 2 zeer zorgwekkende stoffen (SVHC-stoffen of substances of very high concern) toegevoegd aan de kandidaatslijst voor autorisatie en dit omwille van hun reprotoxische eigenschappen. De kandidaatslijst voor autorisatie bevat nu 211 chemische stoffen.
