On 28 May 2019 at 2 p.m, EUROCOTON – European Federation of the Cotton and Allied Textiles Industries, of which Mr Jean-François Gribomont (Past-President of Fedustria) is the President – organises a seminar in the Rue Montoyer 24, 1000 Brussels, at the occasion of its 59th general assembly. The programme includes presentations on the recent developments and the trends shaping the future of the world market for cotton and for man-made fibres. Recent economic developments in China and some strengths
and weaknesses of the Chinese economy will also be discussed, just as the trade relations between the EU and China. The International Wool Textile Organisation will furthermore share some experiences of the wool sector regarding sustainability in a circular economy. The seminar will be followed by a dinner organised jointly with CIRFS – European Man-Made Fibres Association, which will take place at 7 p.m. at The Hotel, Brussels.
