On 1 June 2017, Eurocoton – European Federation of the Cotton and Allied Textiles Industries – of which Fedustria is an active member, organises its annual conference followed by a dinner. The programme includes presentations on the recent developments and trends shaping the future of the world market for cotton and for man-made fibres. The foreign and trade policy of President Trump and the possible consequences for Europe will also be discussed as well as the proposed changes to the EU trade defence instruments used when foreign goods are dumped on the EU market. The shaping of a new EU economic diplomacy, which should allow the EU to better protect and project its economic interests in the world, is the subject of the dinner.
Fedustria members who are interested to participate, can contact Elizabeth De Wandeler ( firstname.lastname@example.org) for the full programme and the practical details.
